In the 39,000 hectares ancestral land, best described as the lush green and rich-in-minerals-and-natural-resources, mountains of San Jose—home to thousands of Aeta Abelling tribe, will rise the Balog-balog Multipurpose Dam – erasing 29 tribal sitios of Barangay Maamot, in San Jose, and Barangay Sta. Juliana, in Capas. The Dam will enclose Malilit, Bulsa, and Tarlac River, for private merchandising of hydropower supply for the needs of New Clark City, as its drinking water source, akin to Lamesa Dam’s purpose to Metro Manila.
